I hated this product, and yes, I like philosophy products as a whole. Their Microdelivery Peel Kit (also called "Resurfacing") is fabulous for thick, oily skin, used once or twice a week. The Oxygen Peel Kit is also good, though very different, for exfolating. This product stinks- literally. I despise the smell. It's too watery to do any real exfolating- Laura Mercier's Face Polish or Lancome's Exfoliance Confort are FAR superior in that (and all other) respects. This does nothing for my skin- not even a good cleansing comes out of this. This is a waste of money, IMO. It also left me with breakouts. Maybe I got a bad container, but this seemed to be just one more product philosphy tried to market off as a "must-have". It's anything but. St. Ives Apricot Scrub from the grocery store, for a tenth of the price, is better than this.

I just started using this last night and it made my skin feel more radiant and healthier after just one use. I feel like exfoliators are definitely helpful in making my moisturizer more effective. This product is gentle and I have dry skin that flakes a lot.

I have sensitive, dry skin and always seem to have problems finding a good face wash. I need something that really scrubs without leaving me looking red and irritated and a wash that doesn't dry out my skin too much. I had tried many other products and given up on finding something that works. I read lots of reviews raving about the Hope in a Jar and decided to give it a try. I must say I am very pleased. I have been using this product for over a week and am amazed at how good my skin now looks. I started out only scrubbing for 30 seconds in the shower to test it. After one use I was amazed at how smooth my skin felt and how well it took the toner and moisturizer after (I am using Body Shop vitamin e toner and lotion). After a week my skin is much improved and my husband loves the way it feels so much that he even tried it. (I may have to hide it from him as I think he likes it too much!). I can't wait to try some of the other products in this line. Love it!

This is simply the best face washing product I have ever used. Since I started using it, I get compliments on my skin all the time and I am almost 50! It has made my skin clearer and younger looking and people say I have a peacher and cream complexion now. I have been a product junkie for most of my adult life and this is the only thing I have ever used that has made that much of a difference. And I was just simply looking for a face washing product. Who knew? I highly recommend it!
